Levi Maaia earns his Instrument Rating!

Red Baron would like to congratulate Levi Maaia as Red Baron Aviation’s newest Instrument Rated Pilot.

Levi passed his checkride with flying colors on September 20th.   Due to bad weather he could not fly north and due to Oxnard’s radar being out of service they could not fly south.    After the controllers at Santa Barbara informed Levi that the radar was out they offered to accommodate his needs and request so he could get the approaches he needed at Santa Barbara.   Thank you Santa Barbara Controllers!

Steve Boothby was Levi’s instructor and did a great job teaching him and preparing him for the checkride.  Thank you Steve.
