Poker Run Saturday August 11th – was great fun!
Red Baron sponsored a Poker Run Saturday August 11th. It was a roaring success and great fun was had by all! We had airplanes from Fullerton, Bakerfield, Lompoc, Camarillo, Oxnard and Santa Barbara besides our aircraft that participated. The first place winner was Elaine, second place Jim and third place went to Michelle. Congratulations to all of you.
The charity that was chosen to received the remaining half of the pot was Compassion International located in Colorado Springs, CO.
To find the poker cards at the different airports the pilots had to figure out a clue that they were given. Optima Publications- Pilot’s Guide in Paso Robles turned out to be the hardest clue to solve. A close second was Avionics West in Santa Marie. Thanks to all of you who helped with handing out the poker cards at the different airports.
As you will see in the pictures below some out the participants also figured out an easier way to get to Optima Publications.
October 7th we are going camping so if you are interested check out the info on our website.
